NIESA lost a wonderful and beloved Board member this morning. Former Board member/Treasurer Robert Russell (Rusty) Ackerman passed away this morning (August 20, 2022) at 2:00 am after an extended battle with cancer.
Rusty was a strong supporter of NIESA, and brought to the Board a wealth of financial knowledge and experience which assisted NIESA with its mission to provide excellent service to the community. He will be greatly missed.
